salary expectation for EFL teacher in KL, Malaysia

I recently had an interview with a language institute in Kuala, Lumpur, Malaysia. It went pretty well, and the director asked me to email him with my salary expectations. I am an experienced and qualified teacher, but I am not certain to to best handle this. I am not in the Malaysia at this time.
