I am teaching a class on verb conjugation. I needed a bit of a refresher... and I don't think that I've ever used future progressive in a sentence... I used this as a reference. http://allesl.com/verb-tenses-conjugation-english/
Just wanted to check with everyone else. If I wanted to give an estimate for how often future progressive is used in the English language of all future tenses... I'd say less than 1%. Do you agree that future progressive is rarely used? Just can't think of a situation when I used it

Re: Future Progressive Usage
Hi,
Perhaps you've used this tense without really noticing it? For instance, 'When you arrive tomorrow I won't see you - I will be attending a boring work event'. In addition to the usage described in your link, we often use it informally instead of a present continuous to denote the future: 'I will be phoning my Mum later today'.
