Teaching in the Middle East

Hello everyone

I am new to this forum. I am a final year Linguistics and TESOL student. I've been searching for potential jobs for the last few months, as I'm nearing the end of my studies. The Middle East really appeals to me, Dubai more than the others. Are there any teachers who currently live or work in Dubai who could give me some advice?.

Firstly , where do i look for jobs in Dubai? I've come across many websites advertising jobs but do not seem legit as they ask you to pay upfront for a job!. What type of salary can i expect?

You're right: don't ever pay for the chance to get a job. Have you looked at the Education Guardian, The British Council? You could also google universities in the Middle East.
