Teaching in Spain, Visas

Unread post by safi »

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has any info about teaching in Spain post Brexit. What are the requirements for a work visa and is it difficult to secure? I’d be looking at Barcelona specifically.
Any help so appreciated!

I think an advanced English language certificate, a reputable TEFL related qualification and near native fluency in English language should be more than adequate to teach lower level English anywhere. I have acquired quite a few TEFL related qualifications and spend quite a lot investing in my English language skills and teaching related qualification/certificates and yet it seems many countries still require a degree to teach lower level English!
It is just so discouraging.

Hello. Come to Italy instead. They are very friendly to immigrants, especially teachers. We couldn't decide to move for a long time. But one day we went on vacation to Milan for a photo shoot on the occasion of our son's second birthday (https://milanphotographer.com/). I really liked it here. I immediately realized that I wanted to live the rest of my life here. After traveling, it was the easiest and most correct decision of my life.
