Hi,
I'm doing research on how language schools train their instructors and would appreciate any feedback. I've read that most such schools require potential trainers to have a Bachelor's degree in any field and to be available for training. I'd be interested to know the duration and content of these workshops as well as the possibility of ongoing training.
Thanks!

Hi.
That's the case for chains of schools that have their own teaching method. There are many more schools that take an eclectic approach to teaching, these usually ask for a degree and a teaching qualification.

My experience at Berlitz was that most teachers had nor prior qualifications and then took part in a four or five day workshop. There was no further training.
