Hi all, completed a 120 hour TEFL online course a little while back so I have forgotten quite a bit about it. In that time, I lost my full time job.
I have a 2-hour trial lesson with an agency and I really want the gig. They have asked me to perform two lessons to high school aged kids, one to intermediate students and one to advanced. The subject is simply "Writing" and by the end of it, get them to write a full paragraph. This will be my first ever lesson! Any help or pointers on what I could do?

How did you get on? I’m looking to do a 120hr course and get in to the same thing.
Re: First ever online teaching! Help!
I am already tired of these lessons. It seems like I'm the one who's learning and not him. And now they have assigned me a project to create and design a children's newspaper. What is there to write in this newspaper?

Warm-Up Activity: Start with a simple writing prompt to get the students thinking in English. This could be a question related to their interests or current events.
Introduction to Writing: Discuss the importance of writing and how it’s used in everyday life.
Vocabulary and Grammar: Introduce relevant vocabulary and grammar that they will need for writing a paragraph.
Writing Exercise: Have them write sentences using the new vocabulary and grammar.
Building a Paragraph: Teach them about the structure of a paragraph (topic sentence, supporting sentences, concluding sentence).
Practice: Give them a topic and let them write a paragraph, applying what they’ve learned.
