online TEFL - looking for some help

Unread post by Medran »

Hi there,

I am currently doing an online TEFL and am looking for some advice on creating a lexis.

I was given the task to create one around the word "exercise" - I believe in physical context.

I have started filling this out with words but got stuck after 3 rows with 3 words each but have to come up with another 9 :(

Has anyone got some good sides on finding ideas for a lexis? Or other tips around this?

Thanks!

what have you come up with so far? What level is it aimed at?

If it's physical exercise, you can add some words connected with clothing and equipment.

Hi Susan,

So far I have come up with:

verbs: drills,work out, train

Nouns: Aerobics, Workout, Cardiovascular exercise

adjectives: workout, keep fit, bodybuilding

It is not targeted at a specific age group or level of learners which is what is making this excercise difficult and stops me from thinking of the best way to tackle it.

And thank you so much for your help!!! the idea about clothing and equipment does help. :)
